Airoh TWO times World Champion in EnduroGP and Enduro2!

Holcombe and Garcia conquer 2017 World Titles

In Enduro GP of Germany, disputed in Zschopau on the weekend of 21st and 22nd of October, AIROH HELMETS conquered “only” two of the most prestigious national Titles of World Championship 2017, but also an unforgettable sequence of victories. These results confirm the big commitment of the Company from Bergamo in Enduro competitions, beside the best teams that chose reliability, comfort, design and advanced safety features by AIROH HELMETS.
In EnduroGP, AIROH HELMETS conquered the World Title thanks to the twenty-three-year-old English Steve Holcombe (Beta) who, after dominating throughout the season, proved to be great protagonist in this race too, when he stood out on both the days. Another English rider of AIROH HELMETS got on the third place of the podium in championship parade: Nathan Watson (KTM), who preceded the Australian Matthew Phillips (Sherco), the French Christophe Nambotin (KTM), the Italian Giacomo Redondi (Honda-RedMoto) and the Spanish Jaume Betriu (KTM-Farioli). Ninth position for the Italian Enduro Champion, Christophe Charlier (Husqvarna), who won this year with the team of France the World Trophy at Six-Day Race and Motocross of Nations competition. Eleventh final position for Alex Salvini (Beta), who had to withdraw for an injury of left shoulder in this GP.
In Enduro2 class, the young Spanish Josep Garcia (KTM) gave AIROH HELMETS the second national Enduro Title in 2017; in the final classification, the Austrian Pascal Rauchenecker (Husqvarna) ended on fourth position, the English Daniel McCanney (Husqvarna) fifth and the Italian Davide Guarneri (Honda-RedMoto) sixth.
Thomas Oldrati too (Husqvarna) was good in this class, eleventh, the Spanish Lorenzo Santolino (Sherco) twelfth, and Rudy Moroni (KTM-Farioli) thirteenth.
In the final challenge for the national Title of EJ class, Davide Soreca (Honda-RedMoto) got the silver medal, four points less than the top.
Next meeting for AIROH HELMETS riders running in Enduro class is the race, as a charity event, organised in Bevera (Lecco), planned for the 5th of November.
