Cairoli wins in Great Britain

Tony also confirms himself to Matterley Basin, while in the minor class Tom Vialle ends third

Victory for Antonio CAIROLI, our rider made two solid race 2nd position in race 1 and Victory in race two. At Matterley Basin Tom Vialle excelled in the MX2 class to capture 3rd position and enjoy his first taste of the podium in only his second FIM World Championship appearance.

Antonio Cairoli, “It was a great weekend and for sure this track is one of my favourites. I had difficulty to push from the beginning because of a problem during the week and I was stiff. It meant I got arm-pump after three-four laps. I had to be careful because on this track if you are tight then you’ll crash because it is tricky and there are a lot of strange ruts and kickers. I was cautious and in the end it paid off. Hopefully I can be better for next week in the sand. For the championship everything is going well and thats my goal.

Podium for Tom VIALLE this weekend, he made two strong race with two holeshot. He finished 3rd in the first moto and 4th in race two, 3rd position in the overall Grand Prix of England. Matterley Basin was just his second MX2 start with the factory KTM 250 SX-F.

About European Championship EMX250, Matterley Basin was the first race of the 2019: 6th position in the overall Grand Prix for our Yamaha rider Ruben FERNANDEZ, he finished 2nd and 14th. 7th in the overall Grand Prix for Rene HOFER. Grothues Caleb finished 12th in the overall grand Prix.
