Manuel Gonzalez wins his first race in Aragon!
Pole position and victory in the first GP of the SSP300
There's no better way to start the season of the Airohriders engaged in the WSSP300.
In Aragon on Motorland track just located outside Alcaniz, Manuel Gonzalez after achived the pole position, won a beautiful race that saw him always fighting in the lead positions.
On the penultimate lap, the Madrid driver sank the decisive attack and took the lead until he won with a gap of 58 milliseconds on the french rider De Cancellis; also the other Airohriders with Omar Bonoli seventh, but still fighting for the final victory, and Bruno Leraci eighth after a comeback from the last position; based on this result, Manuel Gonzalez is therefore first in the world rankings.
Great satisfaction also came from Portugal where the first IMF CEV trial was scheduled; the very young Davide Alonso, Spanish Champion in charge of the GP85cc class, made his Race 1 debut in sixth position and even on the third step of the podium in Race 2 at the ETC debut, only a tenth of a second from the winner. With the points gained today, David is fourth in the overall standings.
Even the third round of the World Supersport 600 championship, where Maria Herrera arrived 15th after a solid race, taking another world championship point.
