Marvin Musquin 6th at Nashville
Our Airohrider crashed in the whoops and finished sixth
Round 14 of the SX season was held in Nashville, TN a new venue for the series. Marvin Musquin unfortunately had an off night with a second lap crash putting him in 20th position. Musquin rallied and came back to 6th by the finish but he is now tie for 2nd in the overall with Tomac, 21 points down.
Musquin: “Qualifying eighth in the heat race kind of put me in a bad position for the Main Event but I was able to get a decent start in second. Unfortunately, I made another mistake in the first set of whoops and I went down. From last, I came all the way back to sixth-place, which is okay but the end result is not good so we’ll keep on fighting.”
In the 250 class Jordan Baily had a similar race with a first lap pile up that put him in 19th position on lap 2 and finish in 11th by the checker flag. Thomas Covington is still struggling with a knee injury and did not race.
