One more victory for Manuel Gonzalez!
The Madrid driver wins the Dutch GP of the SSP300
Manuel Gonzalez, a rider from Madrid, seventeen years old next August, has repeated today in Assen the splendid victory he got just seven days ago in Aragon. A race that ended with a group of a dozen riders, none of whom was willing to close the gas in view of the last chicane that characterizes the Cathedral of speed; and then it happens that we had to wait a few minutes to find out whether Gonzalez's victory was confirmed or not given due an under investigation claimed by the Race Direction to verify the arrival regularity. All confirmed, the driver of Team ParkinGO now leads the world rankings of the 300 class with full points and looks with optimism at the next race in Imola. On a weekend characterized by incredible weather conditions, on Saturday was also snowing, the other Airohriders on the track well figured out and above all Bruno Leraci did that, just like in Aragon, he was the protagonist of a come back up that only in three laps he took him from the twenty-eighth to the first position and then finished seventh to half a second to the winner.
The fourth round of the World Supersport 600 championship also took place, where Maria Herrera ranked 19th. Next race at Imola on the weekend of 10-12 May 2019.
In Italy the first round of the CIV Junior took place in Cervesina (PV) on the Tazio Nuvolari track, where our Airorider Edoardo Boggio won Race 1 and Race 2 in the MiniGP class.
