The Woman’s Europen Cup is now an Airoh internal affair with the Airohpinkriders that are literally dominating the championship.
At Grobnik, in Croatia, where the 4th and the 5th race were scheduled, both podiums were completely Airoh thanks to Beatriz Neila, also the author of pole position, Sara Sanchez and Roberta Ponziani with the first two who exchanged positions, one win each, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
To complete the perfect-weekend, it is also necessary empazise the beautiful performances of Sara Cabrini and Isis Carreño from Chile that constantly gravitate to the edge of the podium, as well as Arianna Barale who after the long stop due to last year accident and the return to the track this season, is constantly improving race after race.
In the championship rankings there is currently perfect equality between the Spanish Beatriz Neila, the defending champion, and Sara Sanchez who precede the Italian Roberta Ponziani; completely equal the victories and placements between Bea and Sara and a final incandescent of the championship!
In the Cathedral of Speed, as it is known by the fans of the circuit van Drenthe of Assen, Maria Herrera has instead achieved a point at the end of the MotoE race and now she is twelfth in the world ranking.
"I started well and during the first lap I immediately gained positions - said the strong rider fromToledo - I knew that either I remained attached to the riders in front, or it would be very difficult to recover. Unfortunately, with the rising wind during the race, in some corners, it was difficult to move the bike and so I lost contact with the group. Not even the falls I suffered in the World Supersport helped me because I still carry consequences. The good thing is that I got a point for the overall standings; now we just have to think about the next Grand Prix in Austria"
Still in Holland, excellent debut in Moto2 for Manuel Gonzalez, Airohrider and the youngest world champion in SSP history. Manuel, called to replace the injured Lorenzo Baldassarri on the MV Agusta, closed the Dutch GP in 22nd position, just behind Simone Corsi, the team’s rider.
The last note comes from the UK where the first round of the BSB was held at Oulton Park International and where Kyle Smith, just returned from a clavicle operation, has managed in both races to enter the Top10, thus securing the eighth provisional position in the championship rankings.
