What an incredible weekend! Double podium of Andrea Locatelli at Estoril, a first and a second place in the WSSP600. Two other national titles, the SSP300 in the CIV with Manuel Bastianelli, first and third in Vallelunga, and that of Maria Herrera, with two wins in Navarra women’s SBK of the Spanish Championship. To close an awesome weekend, also the victory of Mika Perez in the WSSP300 always in the GP of Portugal.
In Estoril Andrea Locatelli crowned a record year with a first and a second place, thus winning the thirteenth podium of the season with a prize record of 12 wins and a second note, also putting on the bulletin board the seventh pole position out of eight available.
Airoh makes the pole position en plain in the middle class of the 2020 World Championship reserved to derivatives bike because adding Andrea’s pole position what Kyle Smith took just fifteen days in Magny Cours, the company from Bergamo owns all eight in the championship.
Always in Portugal, we have to underline the nice victory in Race 1, strengthened by the third place in Race 2, of Mika Perez in the WSSP300.
In Vallelunga was staged instead, the last round of CIV 2020. Here Airoh had the national category podium, Manuel Bastianelli gave himself the title of SSP300, the second in his career. In the second step of the podium there is Nicola Settimo and the third one was achieved from Mattia Martella. With Roman’s weekend, there was also the delivery of the tri-colors helmets to the Italian Champions of each class.
Helmets made according to the GP550 S, top of the range on-road product, have gone to Lorenzo Savadori for SBK, Luca Bernardi for SSP600, Kevin Zannoni in Moto3, Cristian Lolli in Premoto3 and Manuel Bastianelli in SSP300.
Leaving Italy and going to Spain, precisely in Navarra, Maria Herrera has scored a splendid double in the Female SBK that allowed her to win the title.
